I haven't had my 870 for 2 weeks and I've already decided I need to add something to it. I've already shot around 100 rounds through it and today I added a flashlight/lazer pointer combo with momentary switch.

It was about $230. I was only going to get the flash light with momentary switch. Once I saw this and with a little convincing from my friend I decided what the hell you only live once...lol.
It does add some weight to the front of the gun. I'm going to go shooting here in a little bit to see how much it affects me.

I shot about 40 shells today and once I started shooting I didn't even notice the extra weight. I got talking to a real cool guy while I was out there. He had an AR-15 and when I was packing up to leave he says "hey you got two seconds" I said ya sure what do you need? He hands me his ar and says go ahead and shoot this. I was like hell ya! The day turned out better than I expected:)

An AR is a fun gun, watch out though you can get caught up in serious accesories on that platform.

haha..thats awesome but what the hell? Did he tell you why he wanted you to shoot it? I wish those were the kind of favors people asked of me once in a while haha.

We both showed up at the range at about the same time. I talked to him for a good long while about how I really wanted one, but couldn't justify the cost to myself. I think he was trying to convince me to buy one:)
