I was wondering how many miles you guys are getting out of these tires with a tread rating of 200?
I'm thinking of buying these, but my car is my DD so I'm a little leary since I need to have them last a while.

hmmm treadwear aside...
These tires are ABSOLUTLY astounding.
I cant even push these suckers hard enough on the street.
THey rarely squeel around corners and just grip outright insane.
I do have a nice stiff suspension setup though helping with that.
They seem decent in the rain but im not really confident with them in the rain yet. I was very confident with my toyos in the rain but i also had a bunch of miles tested in the rain on those. They did seem to hang on better in the rain though.
As for tire wear.. cant really comment. Ive had them for about 1000-1500 miles now and see no wear whatsoever but thats nothing as far as mileage goes.
If you havent fixed your stock suspension you wont get good wear from any tire.
Also, if you do get them They run real wide in every size.
My 265s are wider than my 275 toyos and my 245 fronts are alot larger than my 245 toyos. I had clearance problems at first with my real low front end and my strut being in the way. Had to grind some lip off the front but thats just because of my 30mm drop.
i wouldnt expect more than 15-20k maximum steet miles.
Im hopeing for two full spring/summer/falls out of mine.
I refuse to burnout still since there so pricey lol
Great tire though, not needed unless you really love the corners though..

I'm just buying 2 right now for the rear, plan on buying the other 2 later on.
I have stock suspension so it's not lowered in the front so I should not have any issues with rubbing when the time comes unless it's strut rub.
I can get the Star Specs for around $134 each whereas my 2nd choice,KDW2,are around $157 each, but with a tread rating of 300.
I also thought about the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 which are around $99 each with a rating of 300.

With stock Rear springs all tires will wear fast.
Its more of an investment than anything purchasing aftermarket rear springs.

Just noticed you stated that these tires are not needed unless I like the corners.
I'm looking for a tire with better straight line traction and heard these are very sticky so these wouldn't be a good tire for me iyo?

They grip well in acceleration and stick amazing when accelerating threw corners.
I never really had problems hooking up in the straits... even on stock/snow tires.. but I have stock engine setup. SO for me i dont really notice an improvement in acceleration.
I love the corners and I really noticed a large improvement getting the power to the ground mid corner.
They are cheap in your case so i wouldnt even hesitate. THey reccommend using sets of 4 do to the sticky compound and getting full advantage out of them.
I guess earlier i was trying to say if you dont really work your tires all that hard you could get a tire with more treadlife and still handle/accelerate good...just not amazing.
As i said earlier.. if you have stock rear springs it dont matter if you have a treadwear of 1000.. they are gonna wear fast.
