Today i rotated the tires and noticed that it was rubbing on the struts. Tire is worn down to the threads. So i was wondering if there was ever a recall and if there is a fix for this so i dont' have to keep dumping money for tires?

there was never a recall on this issue even though there is case pending with NHTSB (national highway traffic safety board). There is a TSB though. It can most of the time be fixed with a front alignment. Which I had done a month or so ago. It cost me $60 at the Pontiac dealer. Not a bad deal. There is a news story on this issue ill see if I can find it.

So Hurry and get that alignment. I haven't had any issue since.

I got an alignment thinking it would fix the strut rub,but it did not.I think the only way to actually fix it is to buy new strut mounts and bearings along with RR bushings.

Pedders has a "tire rub" kit that they sell... I believe it only costs between 350-400, but don't quote me on the price... THis will fix all ur problems..
