Ok not really new of course, just painted the stock rims black.

Anyone know the best place to get replacement center caps? Before we started I found one missing, weak ass pieces.

Check the For sale section of the forum. Don't know of any off hand, but do a search and you might just find what you are looking for. Also start a WTB thread also in the For sale section. Good luck.

They look great... And for the center cap 75TransAm basically said what I would tell you.. O also check GMpartshouse vendor on the left.. You might be able to get them from there.

Wow those look really good. What kind of prep work and paint did you use to do that? That might be something Im interested in doing with my red 04. Can I see a close up of one of the rims? Thanks!

I got center caps on E-bay. I forget how much I payed, but it wasn't too expensive at all.

Those look good. I want to do mine really bad. I drive an IBM too and was thinking about picking up some duplicolor. How does the tire to wheel contrast look without tire shine?

You can tell by looking at the pics that the OP posted. It looks like the tires don't have tire shiner on them.

To the OP.......looks good!!

Well sometimes pictures don't really do justice as to how something looks in person.

The wheel/tire contrast actually looks decent without tire shine but once you had the shine it makes it that much better :)

I debated for awhile about the blue car black rim thing but i get compliments everywhere. Had some chick in a BMW ask me if they were BMW rims, my wife laughed at her so hard the chick got pissed lol.

Thanks GTOROB and everyone for your comments.

You're welcome,I have thought about doing this too,but don't know if black would be the way to go or graphite.

Won't happen anytime soon though if I decide to do it all.

That's probably the best paint job on stock wheels I've ever seen. It looks amazing, great job man.

maybe i just need to see it in person.

painted stock wheels always look like spare tires to me, just my opinion.
