So I went to Les Schwab the other day to have my stock tires rotated. Simple right. Nope. Both rear tires were bald and seperated on the inside, so new tires were needed. I choose the Z4 in the same size as stock. Softer tire and a better shoulder. Well they put on the front one's and what do you know, they didn't fit. The tires were too wide and rubbed on the suspention. So i have to go with a narrower tire on the front. After about 2 hours of being there I was finally done.
The ride home the new tires felt a little softer and didn't seem to hold the road very well and acted as if it wanted to understeer and push around corners. I was still going easy since they were new and I wasn't sure of them.
So later that day we headed out for the weekend. As I drove i could fell the tires warming up and getting sticky. eventually I drove her hard around a corner and she stuck like gule (80 in a 45 corner.) I'm very impressed with these tires. I even tried to break them loose and all they did was stick and shoot me back in the seat. The stock one's would have lit up very easily. So Z4's are great tires in my opinion.
