How to launch on 245 40 18 mickey thompsons?

Gonna be hittin the track tonight for the first time with the new setup.

I have 245 40 18 mickey thompsons on stock 18's. Any suggestions on pressure and launch rpm/ technique and burn out length?

How did they work out for you?

I'm going to be sporting 275s on stock 17s tomorrow night and I'm wondering the same thing.

With the 245's... you can't get too agressive at all. I took the stock tires to the track and was launching around 1600-1800 rpms (M6)... combined with a perfect slip netted me a 1.8 60'. Anything higher then that in the rpms and I was spinning all of first gear.
