Pictures of 265 tires on stock 18's

Does anyone have a pic of 265 rubber on a stock 18? If not how about on an 18 x 8 rim? I'm wondering just how much bulge there would be. The reason I want 265 is that NT05's don't come in 255's and the 265's are really close to stock diameter.

I had 275 toyo tires on stock 18's, bulge actually wasn't to bad. toyo tires run a little small, they were only 10.6" wide according to spec which is similiar to alot of 265 tires.

I hated the way the car drove on the highway though, rear end wandered around and quick lane changes felt borderline dangerous..enough so that i cracked and just bought new rims and have 9.5" wide wheels in the back. I do really like the way the stock 18's look, but i hated the way the car handled after i put these tires on.

id say dont do it, get some good 245's, you can get alot of traction stepping up to a higher quality rear tire.

Those tires are simply the best. 245's will work great for you.

Thanks for the reply's. I don't want to do anything that will seriously compromise the handling of the car.

I'm gonna have to do some thinking about either widening the stockers and going 265(or 275) or just putting 245's on. The 245 NT05's would probably be a huge improvement over the sumitomo's on it right now.

your GOAT will actually handle better with the 265's as they have a shorter sidewall than the 275's

I'm gonna try and get an extra 2 rims, widen them and go 265 in the back.

I ordered a set of 265 35 NT05's. I also bought an extra set I stickers. I'm gonna send two away to get widened but in the meantime mount them on the other two. I'll take pics of the 265's on the stick rim for future reference.
