I am getting a set of factory 18s and I will be painting them so I need some help on what anyone thinks I should do. I have an IBM and I am going with dark wheels. Now help me decided.

Black?

Matte black?

Gunmetal (or some other dark shade of grey?)

Let me know what you guys think. Any IBM owners that have painted/coated factory 18s please post up pictures of your set up. Thanks in advance everyone. If anyone has any other ideas let me know. I dont want polished or anything silver I really would like a dark color. Thanks again

I think either Lexus or Infinity has a wheel color called "Liquid Silver" It is a darker shade of silver but looks awesome. I bet it would look great on a IBM GTO. Just a different idea.

If it were me, I'd go with gunmetal or some other dark shade of grey. Not really a fan of how black wheels look on anything but a black car.

gunmetal definitely...you could even do a 2 color. One of the local goats did this and it looks freaggin sweet!

I think so too. That's the #1 reason why I've not bought other wheels. I love the factory silver and how it looks on the blue.

Look for Poke GTO's posts, he did his 18's in Gunmetal. They look pretty f'n nice.
