I am getting 5/16" drag springs installed on my car and with the extra room, it looks like I can put bigger tires back there. Do you think 275's would fit without rolling the fender?

I've got 285 Toyos with rolled fenders. You may be able to, but it depends on what brand tire.

I've got those springs and I've successfully run a General Exclaim UHP 275. However, different manufacturer's 275 can be slightly different width, so YMMV.

How close are you to rubbing? How is your traction with the drag springs + tires compared to stock setup?

I've got ~1.25" between the fender and the tire, but I've never rubbed. FWIW, I pretty much drive like an old man, tho...
My ex-wife, however, who has the same suspension setup on her 06 PBM, has bent her rear passenger-side wheel well she banged it so bad during a full-up launch against a Z06 with a 300-lb passenger. We're both pretty sure it was the weight in the passenger seat that did it. A shop was able to carefully roll the bent part of the fender back without cracking too much paint... Traction? Hard to tell, as I got a full Pedders Street 2+ package plus swaybars and new tires all at the same time. So, yeah, handling and traction were greatly improved, but I'm sure the rest of the parts contributed to that.

doesnt pedders have a 1.5 inch lift spring too? That should allow for margin of error with larger tires.

drag springs are to control traction and to help with wheel hop. if you're using them to put on a bigger tire it's the wrong use for them. the tire/wheel should be able to do the full range of travel all the way to the bump stops if need be.

I put the Pedders drag springs on the back of mine...I'm running a 265/35 tire on a 9" rim and have no rubbing. Will consider a 275 next time, although I'm unsure of how it will look on only a 9" rim...would much rather have a 9.5" rim...but I'm not buying new rims.

I know, thats why I bought them in the first place. I was just curious because I need to buy new rear tires soon...

Running 5/16" Pedders drag springs in the back with Nexen N3000 275/35/18's....no rubbing whatsoever. Have plenty of room. No rolling/cutting fenders. I might try 285's next year, not sure yet.

My friend runs 275s on the OEM 18" rim which is only 8" wide. Doesn't look bad, but from what I understand, that's an awfully wide tire to put on an 8" rim...
