I can get us a VIP held table at Oshea's bar (next to imperal palace/harrahs)

If you've ever been there, you will know that place is packed. I can get a reserved table for the night if we have enough people interested. We could also do a tournament with $20 buy in, winners take all. We will be playing Saturday night 10:30PM till 2.3.4.5am. :) If you've never played the game, here is a stupid link to someone who will explain it. Rules posted #30

No they dont, I know the Beverage Manager of the Flamingo, which owns O'sheas. They will reserve a table, or kick off whoever is on the table when we arrive. Its called VIP because no one can do that except me. :)

I'll have the rules on a piece of paper for everyone whos going to play, its really simple, and as long as you drop your teams ball in the opposing teams cup, well your supposedly winning, but drinking cold fresh beer for any stupid reason is worth the price of the game. Either way you win. :)

We actually never played much pong back in the day, but just drank and drank and then went and ahead and drank some more. If it's still open, sign us up. Sounds fun.

Beer Pong Rules for Tourney at O’sheas


1. Teams will consist of 2 players, you will be allowed one (1) five minute break during the game to go pee or be able to finish your drink. If your partner leaves to puke, doesn’t come back, or holds the game up longer than the 5 minute time frame you will forfeit, there is no substitute players allowed, no fill ins, no pinch hitters, no babysitters. Don’t play if you can’t hang.
2. Tables are the standard 8 foot long lengths; each team will have 10 cups consisting of 1 pitcher of beer. You will equally divide the beer amongst the 10 cups as best you can. Cups must be in the pyramid form, very close, but not touching each other.
3. To determine what team goes first there will be a shoot off. One player from each team will take a ball, look at the opposing player, and a 3 second count off will take place. Meaning 1, 2, 3 GO! Go meaning shoot the ball. On the shoot off the two players shooting cannot look at the cups, they must lock eyes and throw the ball without looking. If both players MAKE or MISS the shot, it will go to the other partner, you will continue changing partners and shooting until one person/team makes it only.
4. Once the team who starts is established they will take turns throwing a ball in the cup. If one person makes it in but the other person misses it will be the other teams turn, if both people on a team misses it will be the other teams shot. If both players on a team make into cups they will get the balls returned to them and will get to shoot again. If BOTH players on a team make it into the SAME cup, that team will make the other team drink 3 cups, the one the ball went into and 2 cups picked by the shooting team.
5. Re-rack: Each team will get one (1) re-rack per game, but only on even amount of cups, i.e. 8,6,4,2. You must call a re-rack BEFORE your team shoots. Most teams wait till the other team has 4 cups left on the table and call a diamond re-rack.
6. Shots- There is many types of shots, straight, arch, and bounce are the main ones. When you shoot your elbows MUST NOT cross over your side of the table, meaning you cannot lean. There are no underhand shots allowed. Bounce shots count as two (2) cups.
7. Blocking: You cannot block a shot UNLESS it touches the table. You cannot block a straight or arch shot by the opposing team. You can block a bounce shot, but ONLY after it hits the table then you can swipe it off. Be careful not to knock over all of your cups as it has happened before. If you knock over one of your cups, you must drink the rest of that cup, AND a one cup penalty.
8. Once a team sinks all of your cups, you lose. You ALSO have to drink the remaining cups of beer that you missed on their side.
9. If a team makes a shot in your cup, do not remove your cup, it must not be touched until BOTH shooters on the other team have shot. Removing a cup is a 1 cup penalty in addition to your cup that was made. You cannot shoot your balls until your team has drank all of your beer, no babysitting is what this rule is called.
10. Finally after a team takes you down to one cup and makes it, you will have a rebuttal, it will be a shoot till you miss, meaning you could still tie the game. If it comes to one cup and both teams make it, you will shoot till someone misses and someone makes it.

Its actually not that bad, I typed that up in 15 minutes, I'm probably forgetting alot, but anyways its always good for the people who are new, also it helps to deter little cheaters who think they can babysit their beer. Ok so there will be two tables, girls are going to play on one, the guys will play on the other, then we will co mingle after we play a bit. Should be interesting.

Nope, just the basic standard rules, this game will be new to alot of people so I dont want to go to crazy on it.
