I'm throwing this out there as a suggestion I guess for next years Goatrun, I think we should have an 8 car bracket like many events do and call it the "Quick 8". The test and tune is good and I don't think we should get rid of that, but I think putting up cash to draw some of the really fast GTO's out would be cool. No bracket racing, no breakouts, just the 8 fastest cars we can get there to represent the Goats. The winner gets bragging rights for a whole year (and the cash).

I guess that works IF we can work it out with the track. Last year was bracket and this year was test n tune so if we could get both next year with just a "quick 8" deal that would be sweet :)

I would have liked to see travis race this year. I agree that this would be cool. I was commenting to a few guys that the supras and VWs were in the 9s, 10, and 11s, and so many of the GTOs were in the high 13s and 14s.

You see exactly where I'm going with this, there are a few really fast Goats on the West Coast, we just need an incentive to get them out and put on a show.

Heard the tubbed, caged blue GTO did 11.5x on nitrous, maybe he went faster.
I pulled him before he juiced it.
My best for the day, or ever, was 11.77

You sure did. I was on the n2o tune with a motor pass, but that's just what I wanted to do to make sure the tune was correct. I had a 10.97@128 as my best of the day on the last pass nonetheless.

Your car looks seriously badass, runs like it too.
I figured I had a gimme on our run, but low 12's don't totally suck; at least for me.
Anybody else out there run in the 11's-12's? Definitely no one else ran in the 10's.

H/C forged 5.7L LS1 stick shift with a bottle. N2O shot was pig rich.

-Question. Who was the guy that broke on the line. I guess he tried to do a burn out with slicks on a dry area? I have a few pictures of the broken, car/parts, but would like to get a photo or two of his car fixed. Thanks! (for the DVD)

That car has seen a lot more abuse then most GTOs and I think it was just time for the CV to go.
