At the BBQ i was walking around and saw at least 3 GTO's w/ a peculiar PCV system... Or should i say a lack of...
basically what i saw was a breather on the Oil fill cap, but the breather hose from the valley vent was still connected to the Intake track after the MAF.
What this causes is a Lean condition because the engine is taking in more air than the MAF is accounting for. I only remember one of them being a CGM...
