Again, my uncle just bought an '05 GTO, and his son has a 97' Camaro RS. He got the vehicle with the 18" wheels and tires, but recently decided he wanted to go with an aftermarket 19" rim. So actually I have 2 questions?

Will the stock rims/tires fit his son's car? He says if they don't they're mine.

Also, I was showing him the TSW Thruxtons, and he liked them, but he doesn't want to do any fender work. So will 19x8's fit with out any rubbing or rolling? He wants to put on 255/35/19 tires?

Thanks in advance, time to finish waxing our goats.

short answer... no

long answer... yes, but the offset might cause you some problems. the actual difference most likely can not be seen and im sure its even within build tollerances of wheels. the difference is something like 0.02cm so its not much and you'll need hub rings to make it work and even then there is a possibility that it wount work.

so if you want the rims, give him the short answer!

Well can any one answer the other question about what size 19s/rubber fit with no modifications, he wants a nice gunmetal/hyperblack rim with a chrome lip.

Long answer also says that the bore diameter (the center hole that rides on the hub of the car) is BIGGER on the F-bodys than the GTO. The wheels physically won't fit on an F-body. F-body rims will fit on a GTO. We are not getting into the bolt pattern, hub diameter discussion at this time.
