however as a Hint: there are MANY other ways and maybe you can check your consistency and punctulaity as regards the opening question and your entire "routine".

Routine: It takes you anywhere between 15-20 mins to check PM followed by closing the thread followed by grading all the responses followed by creating another thread.

I've actually mixed that up a bit. Also, as far as I know, you don't get updates when the first post is edited/updated. I don't post the answer other than the edit until I've totaled the scores. So you shouldn't' be getting an email notification of the thread update until the scores are posted. It is normally 2 to 10 minutes after I post the scores until I post the next Q.

Face it, you need to breath a bit :) you appear addicted.

That is one of the reasons I try to toss a really difficult one in every week and also for the 5 for Friday question. Both types bring in a few more points and require a little more time to answer.

For the most part I don't think people are googling the answers but on the other hand, I do get less correct answers when I re-write the questions to relate to the board a little better. :) pretty much impossible to do with riddles. But the math and logic based questions can normally be re done.

LOL- I was more responding to 68's post in #12. I'm all for good competitive fun- if they were posted up randomly throughout the day it would be the best since no one would be able to pre-empt the question and camp in the QOTD.

Most are easy, but what comes quickly to some are mysteries to others. Most are not too difficult but I try to throw one killer in a week.
