Not that I could tell. But, combining width of tire with offset of wheel, you may run into rubbing of fender lips. How about letting him buy my rims & tires. No problems after that.

I would also be concerned with rubbing the front shocks/perch.

Yup... 255 seems too large for the fronts. Although I think Sam did it on his with teh Foose Speedsters, with an 18" wheel.

In case you don't know who SAM is he was a formal GTO owner who put a 408 in his car. He sold it and is no longer around.
