Here's some pics of the new Fusion Orange color.

I quess its different then the orange color the Aussie's already have.
"CV8-Z declares its presence with an all-new Holden color called Fusion, extending the palette of hero colors for which the company has become renowned. Fusion is an orange-based metallic delivering sharp gold highlights through to darker bronzed drop-out."
Looks stunning IMO. The two tone interior is amazing. They need to offer that here.

the exterior looks like a computer image. not a real car. I think it will probably be a tiny bit different in real life.

I wonder what that little black dot forward of the pass side mirror is...
That is a neat color and I especially like the interior. Too bad we won't see it over here :)

I had a couple of commodores when I was back and most probably it is an electronic retractible radio antenna

The Monaro clip fascia is much, much sexier than the nasty P-P-Pontiac one as well.

I thought this too at first but over time that central bar in the grille kinda bugs me,,look too "chevyish" If I were to gte one I would remove the main grille and either use some black mesh or nothing at all there. I actually like the earlier "round foglight" monaro fronts much more.
Something like the one in my avatar would be what i really want.
Current GTO front but with one huge grille replaing the two kidney grilles.

the pick of the rear looks totally fake at least on the rear not so much on the sides. Especially around the exhaust tips. It could just be the pics are super super super clear.

I doubt the US gtos will have a number of those items...ie black scoops, black trim inside, extra gauge pod, esp not gonna have the colored inserts. JMO.

Those exterior pics look like some of the press photos from previous years' Monaros. Holden's version of Photoshop isn't very good. :p
I would like to see the car in 68 verdoro green updated with the new glass flake paint instead of metal flakes.
I was never a fan of the gold, i had a gold 67 lemans convertible that was lovingly called diaper gold or baby s**t gold. This orange may come close to the diaper designation.
Note how nice the rear looks without the pontiac body cladding boy racer spoiler on the back.

Its a photoshop someone from Holden confirmed it on www.ls1.com.au. It is actualy a series 1 or 2 Monaro thats been chopped as you can see the old style antenna on the right.

Those images are not photoshop but actual proper renders from the CG team at Holden. The antenna blob is actually a mistake from the previous model and has since been removed. Everything else is all CG.

And yes, the center console on the Monaro is MUCH nicer than what you folks are receiving. That piano black surround is just awesome in the flesh.

I've looked into it... it's a MAJOR undertaking... not just the headunit.. you have to pull the whole dash and replace all the cable controlled parts with electric motors. Probably a few grand to convert.

Plus the LHD dash doesn't allow for the square controls so that whole surround needs to be bought, to do it right anyways. If you would pay 2K to covert it, why hack it with the console surround?
Anyways, IMO it's not worth even considering, I can push the a/c button when it's hot and push it to turn it off...
I don't even use the auto headlight setting :gr_jest:

I saw an '06 in this color at the Dream Cruise today. That picture is very accurate as far as how the color looks. I was expecting it to be darker like the other pontiac orange colors, but it looked great. Looks better with the dark tail lights as well.

I, too, saw the Fusion car running up and down Woodward this afternoon. The color looked like an orange metallic with gold highlights - I really liked it!
The GTO will have that exterior color available, plus the orange interior accents, too. I think this is the best color yet for this car.
But no auxiliary gauges (we would have had to retool the housing completely due to LHD US cars).

They call that ORANGE? It looks more like gold to me. Not sure if I'm, likin' it or not...
