My car has 39xxx miles on it all stock suspension and stock wheels and dunlop tires. Buy anyway my rear tires are chunking.. not the whole tire just on the inside of the two tires. i believe it has something to do with the suspension sense it has gotten the alignment checked and it is perfect. Any ideas please help i am ruining my almost brand new tires.

I would place my bet on the stock rear springs as the cause. Without a measurement or even a picture, can't tell for sure though.
The stock springs are too weak, probably because they wanted to soften the ride when they designed the car for North American use. (apparently giving us 17" stock wheels, while the rest of the world were 18" minimum was not enough)
You can measure the loaded spring by parking on level ground then measure from the top of the rear fender lip down to the bottom of the wheel rim (going though the center of the wheel). We can then compare it with what it should be at with a stock new spring. Do both sides to see if they are even or not.

Chunking on the tread?
You'd have to have some seriously nasty suspension problems to get chunking just from that.
I have to do a track day to get chunking. I suspect it might be some seriously aggressive driving more so than alignment.

i will post some pics i am not sure how so if someone can give me some advice. I think it is the rear shocks because the back looks like it is sagging a little. I will measure today and post my results..... Its only on the inside and i don't drive the car hard i occasionally step on the gas but who doesn't plus money is tight to i never turn traction control off.

It is the OE springs. They are notorious for wearing out the inside of the rear tires due to their weakness and the factory set negative camber setting, which good for handling.
Aftermarket performance springs of your preference will correct the problem and eliminate wheel hop as well.

what do you think for performace springs. I want good ones but don't want to break the bank either...
Might check with who you bought them from...

Mine did the same w/ less than 15k mi. change the springs, get new tires, this will fix. I recommend PEDDERS Springs.

do you have a part number for what you bought? I have heard a lot about pedders i have heard they are very good. I want to go with the stock ride height just wanna fix this stupid problem so i am not wearing out tires like crazy.

I had the same problem with the inside tire wear on the rears. At 18k miles the outside edge of the tread looked fine but the inside was almost down to the cords. I went with the Lovells stock height springs and they have been great! Wheel hop is greatly reduced and the ride feels better as well.
