I ran across this on Ebay and I'm considering doing it.You send $500 and your stock wheels and you get these in return. What do you think about them?

I noticed that too...LOL

Mayeb the sky is reflecting down on them. I guess the price seems fair, but by the time you pay shipping it would seem it would be cheaper to find a local chromer and do it that way!

I searched Ebay but could not find these rims. Did you pick up on who the chroming company is?

Was it this place?:

http://www.calchrome.com/wheels_pontiac.php

They say it starts @ $125 per wheel and the have an advance exchange program (they send you the chromed wheel, you send your painted wheels after you get them).

That sounds nice, but WHat kind of reliability does chrome dipped wheels have? Anyone did it before? Do they ever chip, or crack, or discolor?
And how does it work?
