As everyone gets their new cars can we set up a list where you tell what dealer you purchased from and how their service was. Such as was the car in acceptable shape, did you get gouged on the price, apr etc.

Nice idea. Problem is, this is not a vehicle that there are 50 on the lot to choose from at each dealer. SO if they got bad service they could warn others to avoid them.

We all pre-ordered from particular dealers so the only way we could do anything is refuse to buy it.

Maybe something on the service end would be good though.

There are not 50 on the lot to choose from right now, but in the future there will be more. The dealer Im getting mine from is supposed to be getting 50 for the 04 model year. Its still a good idea because we could have this info available for people from the begining. The deal mine is coming from has great service, but the other two pontiac dealers in my area are horrible.

I think this idea is fantastic. I can tell you that I will purchase my new GTO from my dealer but it will be the last car I purchase from them. I have already bought a 2004 Grand Prix GTP from them in May and 2 months later ordered my GTO. They still have yet to give me any info on my order. I think after spending approx 60,000 $$$$$ I should of at least received a phone call.

I ordered my from Van York Pontiac in High Point NC. Much like the others, this dealer does not know much about the GTO. Most likely putting energy into cars that he sells a lot more. I am grateful for the information at this site.

I ordered mine from Bob King Pontiac/GMC/Mercedes in Wilmington NC and being it's the only pontiac dealership around here I had no choice, but I will say it's a great place. We just bought a 2003 GMC Sierra 4x4 from them.

I'm going away for Thanksgiving so they are giving me a loner to use because my GTO isn't here yet. I though that was rather nice. Not many places would do something like that.

Lil GTO, you have an early TPW, probably on the first boat. Has your dealer given you any indication of when your car is coming?

No, he hasn't. But he did say the end of November.....which is next week
But........when I go to ebay where some dealerships are auctioning a GTO, the say they will have them Dec 12th, so I'm thinking that's about when I'll get mine. I HOPE

I contacted my dealer about the production status/delivery date/price. The only thing that they could tell me was that my car was built in late September. I hope they aren't gonna price gouge me.

When my Dad wanted to get a GTO he went down to a dealership and signed up to be on a waiting list, he was the 16th person to sign up. When it came to the time that the new GTO's should be here, he never herd from the guy at the dealership because they hadnt gotten them on time. So my Dad got a dealer in another state, and got his GTO there. Then the dealership he originally went to had called and said the GTO's are in, and everyone who had signed up got to go down there, and see the GTO, but we already had ours, so my Dad and brother went down in our GTO, and by what I herd, they were quiet the hit. So I think that the first dealership we went to was not good at all.
