hi all
i just got back placing my order for a 2006 impusle blue with blue leather m6.iam very excited!! i got it for 32,000.00 pending msrp will stay at the 33690.00 otherwise 1700.00 off of msrp(sticker).the pricing for the 06's where not in the computer yet.i felt that was ok compared to some other dealers i went to.

Thats a good deal man. I'm getting ready to order the same car, M6, IBM with blue interior, and I will be happy if they give it to me anywhere near MSRP. All the dealers in my area want to rip people off.

Congrats dude. I ordered mine last week. Looked at a lot of different dealers but finally ordered from McNamara Pontiac in Orlando because their allocation is HUGE, plus when I used to live in O-Town I got really good service there. They had already ordered 18 '06s for inventory, and one of them was just what I wanted (black/red, M6, 18") so I put a deposit on it.

Still trying to get them to give me the order number so I can submit it to the tracker and keep an eye on it. ;) Speaking of which, I need to call them and bug them again tomorrow.

thats great guy's! i can't wait too!! the dealer told me 4-6mths to get my car.it will give me some more time to sock away some more money to put down so it's not really to bad to wait plus i'll have it in time for the spring and summer.anybody know if you can order the car without the spoiler? the dealer said no?

Nope, unfortunately there is no spoiler delete option -- you'd have to wait till you got the car, take the spoiler off and fill the holes.

What about the loss of the center brake light? Isn't that a no-no?

I think I'd like to replace the US spoiler with a 'lip' spoiler similar to the Monaro. Hopefully get one w/ a brake light built in...

There is a brake light in the back window as well. No worries. :)

does anyone know if those tailights that are on the pictures of the 06's are coming with them?

You mean the darkened taillights? Yep, those are standard issue on the '06s.

I wouldn't expect to be able to get them from a dealer for a long time. No dealer even stocks stock 04-05 tails, heck try and get a headlight bulb low or high beam...

Best bet is to wait till the 06's arrive and see if someone likes the 04-05 red tails better and trade or buy some aussie 427's they are pretty much the same but not DOT legal, due to no refector built in.
