I'm attempting to find some black 18 inch Drift R's in a staggered setup. When looking at tires I saw the Sumitomo HTR Z II and was curious if anybody had tried them. Seemed to fair pretty well against the stock KDWS on tirerack. Pretty cheap too! :burnout:
Thanks,

Had a set on my '88 M3. Really good tire. Good wet and dry traction for the price. Watch the wear though. If they don't wear evenly they get noisy. I had about 10K on mine before I sold the car. Still plenty of tread left. Go to tire rack and read the reviews. That'll help you make the decision. Good luck!

For a decent priced tire I love my Nitto 555 tires! I run 245/45/17 s all the way around, no drag radials! I like them, nice deep tread design and very nice road tire! Just another option!

I had Them on my Cadillac DTS and I was very happy with them. I had them on 20" Davins. They handled very well for a heavy car with big rims.

I had them on my WS6 TA Convertible. Fabulous for the first 10K miles or so. They started getting loud after that, but still performed well. For the price, I think they are a great deal. I would buy them again.

I had the HTR Z 275/17 and 315/17 on my Corvette and they were great.
160 Tread were rating does have an impact but for the money there were worth it.
