Did a search but couldn't find anything directly relating to this.

I'm looking to put some more meat out back on the factory 18" wheels that came with my goat. Stock 235/40 fronts are fine for me but I was hoping to go 255/35 or 265/35 in the back, any idea of either of those sizes would work at all without rolling or cutting?

I wouldnt mind going with a 40 profile but every car that I have seen that has a staggered setup from the factory eg, Z4, Boxster, C55 AMG uses 1 series lower out back.

Any advice would be appreciated as I had nail in my passenger side front tire and I am looking to swap the rears to the front and replace them.

There was a Pontiac dealer posting here about 2 months ago to sell a set of chromed 18" '05 wheels that he had set up with 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear, and he supplied pics of them on the car. Selling them because the buyer "hated them". Did not mention rubbing, but I doubt 265s would rub if mounted on stock rim. This is my plan for my 18s as soon as I wear the 235s out!
INMHO, the 235s look pretty stupid on this car, especially with the SAP.
