Well just before I go to bed I'm going to let everyone know that I plan on painting my stock wheels tomorrow morning. :eek: I'm not painting the whole wheel, just some of it. I hope I can get a different look from the stock wheel by doing this. Man I better not screw up because I'll shoot myself if it don't look good. I'll try to post pics as soon as I get er done.

Wish I never tried. Nearly ruined the wheel and I'm lucky I had paint thinner near by. The paint would not stick to the wheel which gave it a very blotchy look. I don't even recommend tring to paint these wheels unless you know what you are doing and have lots of patients. I guess I didn't think this through enough.

Did you rough up the finish by sanding it before you tried? Our wheels are just painted so it shouldn't have been a problem. I'll probably end up buying new wheels instead of painting the stockers. Too many lines to mask off...looks like a pain to tackle!
