I am thinking about a new set of rims for my goat(ASA AR1). How do I know if I need them, and if I do need them what do they do?

I have those same wheels and you will need them. I installed them on mine and they work great!

They should fit AZA, ASA, OZ, Boze, ZE Forged, Beyern, Stilauto among a few... They are machined to fit the hub within tenths of a millimeter unlike plastic ones which may vary by as much as a millimeter. You might as well not even have hub rings if they dont fit the hub!
