those do look great . congrats !
you just have to have done some heavy surgery on the rear lips with those wheel specs tho - right ?
EDIT: yeah- i think i see where the lip was either rolled or grinded in that last photo in #1 starting at about 10oclock. nice work btw

You're right it was a photochop I've done about 3 weeks before I got the wheels on.

Nothing major on the fender rolling. They just rolled tham back as much as they could. It took them about 15 - 20 mins to roll both sides.

Here are some pics of the rolling. Its not perfect, but it will do. At least the imperfections aren't visible.

As you can see, the right fender lip looks like shit.

HOLY CRAP! They looks awesome! Eventually I will be able to affor d aset of wheels, but I just keep breaking stuff at the track. Time to go back and make some repairs while I save for some wheels. And then of course I will lose those funds to buy a forgeed motor...Ugh, its neverending!

So do these wheels come in an 8.5" width? Is an 8" the widest you can go without rolling the fenders?

Yea an 8" would be the widest you can go without rolling the fenders. I thought rolling the fenders was a big deal, but it really isn't. If I knew how east it was I could have done it myself.

They only came to $800 for the set.

Ok, based on the clearance you have with that setup, give me you opinion on this. I want 18's but I have to have drag radials. I can do BFG's or MT's because it rains too much here. That leaves me with Nittos like I have, but they only come in 285 width in 18's. The 9.5 rim would work with them but I'm curious about fender rub. Do you think you could have gone to 285 with the fender rolling? Oh yeah, my car is lowered about 1 to 1.5 inches in the back. Just your thoughts since you know how yours fits. Thanks. BTW, they look great!

To be honest with you dave... I'm still surprised my 275's haven't rubbed yet ( even with a full tank of gas). If your car is already lowered I would not suggest 285's, but if you have your fenders cut and you have a rounded tire you'll be fine.

Wrong! 18x9 is the widest you can go in the back if you get a 52mm offset. You are wasting space towards the shock if you do a 45mm offset. 275's fit without rolling if you have the proper offset. Ask Todd at prodyno. He has done the same thing....

I don't understand the rolling job. as far as I've always known you're supposed to cut the lip every few inches when you're rolling the lip.

these people didn't know what the hell they were doing, clearly.

how I just described is how I did it to fit my wheels on my car
