The orange woodward is more-so like the old camaro/trans-am of yester year, but that was 30 years ago. the new orange is not that close.But if you refer to old as a few years ago, i would say they are much closer in color than the OLD CAMARO/ FIREBIRDS

From that F-body pic, it looks like Brazen is more yellow-ish than the Fcars.

I would almost call the GTO in that pic Gold as opposed to orange. It's in between the older GM Gold colors you would see on cars and the newer orange you see today. At least it's not "old man tan" as I call some colors offered today by most auto makers.

Wow!! I can see me turning in my 04 next sept.(lease) and getting one of those!! I love that color! My first car was an orange 1971 monte carlo and my second car was an Orange Metallic Mist 1982 Datsun 280ZX. I haven't owned an orange car since but that may change next september!!

I don't think that it looks that close to the Sunset Orange color that was availible on the F-body's. Sunset looks darker than Fusion to me. You can get a orange color close to Sunset Orange on the G6. I suspect that it's different from that color.

Yea once I traded in my SOM WS6, I wanted another orange car!! I have noticed now, that almost all car companies have a orange out in one of their cars of 06. I really do like that orange 06 GTO though!!!

Really? I loved the WS6 & esp that color, the reason was, there was only 220 made in that color in 02. I never saw one w/ the taupe interior like mine, most had black, that's why I liked the car so much!! As for the yellow caliper's I painted the the same color as the car when I put drilled & slotted rotors on it, so it looked much better!!!

Daytone sunset from the 05 C6 Vette...I'll miss her, she was Automatic and the quiet type (quietly a speed machine with few peers) when the Cali sun hits that daytona sunset orange there is no other color. It is way lively. Can't believe I bought a black
05 GTO. The things I will do for a red interior are sick. I know better than black. Your not driver your a 24/7 waxer duster with black. Had I seen that orange was metallic like the 05 vette I'd have held out for it. The color rocks so hard and stays clean looking. Just get it, if you are thinking 06 GTO.

Problem with that is even IF a guy there did put them in, it has to make it to your dealer and then the dealer not trying to hose you to sell for a huge mark-up, if they know that it is a "mistake"

There is a dealer close to me that still wants an outragous price on a 2004 pulse red auto, claiming it is because it is "limited edition" and only 273?(very close if not exact) were made. Funny how it is not the rarest 2004 combo...

another dealer has a Collectors edition T/A brand new from 2002, still in thier show room, still wants MSRP + for it. "never been titled" yada yada yada....

We are releasing a similar color in 06. Its called Fusion Orange though. Looks alot alike. I first remember seeing this type of color on on the Ford SportTrac. A lil longer name though...Burnt Copper Pearl Metallic
