New cam finally here

Well besides the bad news of my driveline problems, i got a nice new package that was sitting at my door.

Im going to thank Ed for helping me out with my new cam shaft, this thing should do the trick along with a few other new mods i have coming.

*** *** *** lets just say that the lift is in the 600's now about .30-.40 more than i am currently at.

i guess 551 to rear just wasnt enough for him, soon we will be building wings and a rudder for him.

What ever doug, sorry i didnt post in the ls1/ls2 engine tech MY BAD - d@#k. LOL, anyways in my mind it is going to be a power adder at least, and why would you think that you know my specs i might have given you some bogus specs to keep you guessing :sneaky: , not like it matters with that big monster you got going in, i just wanted to up my game some with this cam along with a few other goodies of which you only know about 1. :secret:

3.91 gears through drags on dyno(eats up power)
cam with less lift
.3L/18ci less in motor LS1vs LS2?
Non ported version of FAST 90mm intake
and I still made more power than U :gr_devil:

The number is on the cam card :D just in case a customer has any questions or problems. It's just not listed anywhere on the site anymore because when I did that, all the dang thing did was ring off the wall and nothing got done around here. Eventually, something has to get done during the day or no one gets their stuff. ;)

Emails can be answered any time, like at 5 am, when I get up and rolling. Expect your reply soon Trak...

HAHA... I think there is still room for tuning on teh LS2s though. I can't fricken wait till our January track day! It is going to be awesome!!! So many high HP cars will be out, and hopefully we can all get the power on the ground!!!

Seriously speaking if he preps the car right an in the right air it should be the first GTO n/a to go 120mph through the traps with only Heads/cam stock short block. I went about 118mph with 2000+DA on street wheels and drags.

With a DA close to 0 and some bogarts 20whp more and 30fttq more it should go 120. Will it? Probably no, John has a kick ass stereo in the car probably adding 150-200lb in weight and he'd have to remove it. It will still be pretty awsome though.

Hey i see you have a following doug which is cool which means that i have from now to january to get this thing totally dialed in. Im not shooting to beat anybody just go out there and enjoy my first time at the track. Unless of course somebody wants to start some s%^t then we will see, of course i dont want of piece of anybody that is going to out hp me by 100-200 hp but anybody else can bring it.

like you said hp is an addiction, i did heads/cam and a few other things i basically have everything on my car that matched what doug had. Now i have a new cam from ED going in and i have a few other things that i am working on getting to get this thing the best hp numbers i can on a stock bottom end.

Well, I very seriously doubt your going to put a Turbo or SC on a motor that is completely built for NA with higher compression! HAHA... I look forward to finally meeting you man. Good luck with it!
