2006 GTO Warranty 4Yr/50000

Just noticed the 2006 GTO has a 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.

I hope that's true! Something GM should be doing with more cars these days. That pretty much seals the deal for my getting the 06 instead of the 05.

Gives me a definite reason to get an 06 along with my 05...I have toyed with the idea of just using the 05 as the DD and getting an 06 to mod the sh*t out of and keep in the garage. Of course the warranty would then be gone but...

Given the nature of the site, does this only apply if the vehicle is bought for commercial purposes?

I keep my cars for many years, so this would be a big help to me. (Well, it would be if I had stuff go wrong year four...heh.)

That's :bs: they should extent all the other GTO's warranties then, at least the 05's since it is the same exact car, except for a few minor interior changes.

Perhaps the revised ECU is SOOO powerful, that it can actually sense problems, and fix them before they become a warranty issue!
