Is there enough room for a flip out screen?

I want to put a dvd player with an in das flip up 6.5 ich screen in the gto once i get it. I want to put it in the lower din of the stereo area and proably put a storage bin above it. I was just wondering if there was enough room for the screen to flip up, or will it hit the shift knob on the way up, I think i may travel about 5 inches out, but to be safe lets say 6 inches. Can someone measure for me. Thanks alot.

Stormguy03 had 1 in his goat the worst case you have to shift into 2nd to bring it out or back in.

I was just trying to see if it was possible to do without putting it in second, becasue sometimes i know i will forget. And i think his in the top din.

I've been thinking that the upper panel above the center A/C outlets would be the perfect place to rig up a flip up monitor.
