True the smaller the wheel the lighter it is. Has anyone run the SAME wheel and tire combo in the 18 and in the 19 to see how much slower it is. I cant imagine it being more than a tenth or 2. and when you take it to the track most people will put the stockers on the rear anyway. So if you have 19s in front and the stockers out back it will be minimal i would think.

As far as the ride quality you are definitly right. But it depends on what what you like, roads by u, and so on.

Older...Do you have any pics of your car with the springs and wheels on a direct profile?

Pucci

I want to just fill the wheel gap on the car. The pedders tuck the rear and I am not feeling that.

Lovin the very little fender gap. Now was that pic right after they were put on or is that after the spring settled for a bit?

Looks great Older Goat.

I would go with that suspension and 19's. That would look sick. I don't know if I would go with pedders or anything lower than what older goat has AND 19's. That might be a bit of a harsh ride and dangerous for your low pros.

My vote: 19s and stock ride height.

put the eibachs (and konis) on shortly after purchase - for safety reasons....just didn't feel secure with the oe goat bobbin around and such...like my fathers oldsmobile...scary stuff. :D

Thats at tight GTO man. The spoiler delete makes it look sick as hell. I got a black one and am thinking of doing it. What do you fill the places where the spoiler mounted?

If you want to spend the bucks, then have a body shop fill them in and repaint. I didn't. I spent the grand total of $7, plus some GM touch up paint. Go to Home Depot and buy some plastic plugs (four 3/8" and one 3/4"). The plugs are in the Nuts and Bolts drawers at Home Depot (or Lowe's). More info can be found by using the search function.

I think thats funny... Some ppl pay good money to install a spoiler on a car that does not have one, while others will fork over some cash to have a factory spoiler removed.

Correct me if I am worng but I think the main reason for removing the stock spoiler is so that your car is different, or unique...

Please to not take this offesively... This is just IMHO

The car was designed without a spoiler, then it was tacked on later. Some like it some don't.

I still have mine on, Was thinkin about removing it and seeing what it looks like on my car.

edit - oh my wheels should be here anyday now as well

For the ROH Drift R's should i get 19s and leave the car the stock hight or should i get 18s and lower the car

I was simply gonna say pick up both sets, and whichever one you don't want, I'll pay to have shipped to me!!! LOL

I think you'll be happy either way...

19's for sure!!!

the lip makes the rim look smaller so if you go with an 18 it looks like a 17 or so IMO

so on that note i would def go with the 19's

Yea. Actually I didn't specify. I thought I was getting the S's, but they sent me the R's.
I didn't think I wanted the R's, but I'm just so stoked to get them I'm not complaining.
And like you said, I'd eventually end up with R's anyway.

Nope.
In fact, I took a trip this weekend and had the car and trunk loaded.
One 175 lb son in the front w/me. My 195lb son in the rear seat with the other rear seat and trunk fully loaded with luggage. No rubbing.
I did show some restraint in not doing any hard launches while loaded, though.
