Finally, after 8 weeks of waiting.....here they are...

they'll be on the car sometime this week as soon as i get flushmounted valve stems (notice the lack of a valve stem hole on the outside of the wheel, a little bit of a PITA, but a nice touch). I'll take some pics of the finished product naturally...;)

Oh and in case people are wondering how much they weigh.....20 pounds even for a 17x8.

The lip is as wide as my phone....not bad for needing such a large positive offset....;)

:hail: Wicked wheels man, I will be very interested in the fitment of your tires and rims. I will be swapping mine next spring, those are the ones i want, please keep us posted as to any problems that may or may not arise with them...

will do. I'll be remounting the stock tires since they only have 1000 miles on em. The only problem i've run into so far is the valve stem clearance issue. A set of Mr. Gasket flush-mount stems is on the way to remedy that. i mounted up one wheel to check out the situation and it IS a little close. I have a feeling with the 1/4 inch or so that the flush mounts stick up, there's going to be less than 1/4" between the edge of the cap and the caliper. if it doesn't work.....i dunno WHAT the hell i'm gonna do. but it LOOKS like it'll clear fine.

You also have to be careful about lug nut selection. A standard "acorn" nut with a regular socket ain't going to do the job as the spacing is TIGHT. I did some searching today and came up with a set of "tuner" lugs that work perfectly. They use a splined thin wall socket (as opposed to the kind where the wrench fits INTO the end of the nut instead of around it). IMO, they look much better than the open ended ones that accept the hex-head or splined keys. I'm not sure who makes them (bought em loose) but i saw a set of Gorillas online that should work fine too.

I picked that color out of about a million shades of grey...how close did I get to what you were describing to me?

When I looked at the first pic I thought they were aweful. But the second pic with some secondary lighting completely changed my mind. Those look outstanding. Get them on already!

very close. it's just a shade lighter but you really can't tell the difference. it looks like it'll match pretty well. nice pick. :)
