I just received my Gorilla wheel locks today, are these the right ones? They are not nuts but actual bolts, this implies that I remove my stock studs? Here is a link: http://www.gorilla-auto.com/products/?sfID1=249&sfID2=250&productName=CONE+SEAT+-+17179&image=5488.jpg

Thanks in advance!
Craig

OMG, NO! Hold on, let me get you a pic of what you would need. BTW, what kind of wheels are you putting on? Pic or link, please.

Thanks Guys. I'm putting on Beyern 5's. I freaked a little when the lugs arrived - you have confirmed my suspicions.

Be forewarned. If you lose the key, you WILL NOT be able to remove the wheels without damaging them. That is what I used when I had my Drift Rs.

Well if you get the gorilla lcoking lugs you can have keys remade...

But he is right.. moral of the story is dont lose the key!
So, what kind of locks are on your wheels? ;) And if you don't have any, you better get some. We know where you live.:gr_jest:

No locks on my wheels yet, since they are coming this afternoon...

HUH? You can take wheels off a car without jacking it up?

If your wheels are on the doorstep, I don't even have to touch the car.:slap:

i will NEVER buy anything from gorilla again. they do not stand behind their product. i bought a set of anodized tuner lugs from them. i put the lugs on there. when i went to rotate the tires the lug nuts stripped and the key went to crap at the same time!! ended up using an easy-out to get them off!!! i called gorilla and asked them to honor their warranty that they tout on their website......they told me that that is how tuner lugs are and that there is nothing they can/will do about it. to be fair though he offer to SELL me another set of identical lugs. :banghead:

No, those are NOT the right ones. You need nuts, not bolts.:p

If you want a lock for each lug (as I have), these are what you want.

I've been using these sets on my cars for over 10 years now, without ANY problems whatsoever.:driving:

Not sure if you noticed, but the link you posted is for lug nuts that will NOT fit our GTO's. The GTO's lugs are 12mm x 1.50 thread pitch.

The link you posted is for 12mm x 1.25 thread pitch.:eek2:

Those will not work.:(

:banghead: How could I have made such a mistake? I know what the correct size is, I guess I just quickly linked to the previous page. I corrected it. Either way, at least he can send back those wheel bolts.

BTW, how much did those HREs set you back. Also, you got any bigger pics? ;)

Edit: Never mind. Found a thread where you posted them. Are they a polished finish? The HRE website claims prices were with a painted finish.

Figured it was just a mistake, but wanted to make sure nobody bought the wrong ones.

The Gorilla ones I posted are the same ones on my car.:driving:

I bought the wheels through LPE at the same time they did my TT setup,
they were 6235.40 + tax. They are the full polish version.

I just looked at HRE's website, through HRE they would cost $7454.00:eek2:
(2 x 19" x 8" fronts, 2 x 19" x 9.5" rears, + $158 x 4 for full polish)

You paid $6200 for wheels? HOLY $HIT!

[Yugo Owner]You paid $34,000 for a car? HOLY $HIT![/Yugo Owner]

Well, I might have saved a little cash by only getting 18"s. Not much cheaper though.

BTW, Walker, did you know we are planning a trip up to the Tail of the Dragon this weekend?
