1/2 dozen of the other.... i got my tires balanced today cause they were vibrating bad and while i was at discount tire the guy pointed out that my front two tires were really low. now i wanted two tires that would do well in the snow, but not snow tires where i would be burning them up with them on now.
so what i did is i got continental all seaon high performance for the rear and put the sumitomos that were on the rear on the front.... well here comes the 6 of one half dozen of the other. the sumitomos were pretty decent on hard acceleration as long as i didnt dump the clutch. but they wanted to start to wheel hop once in a while under hard accel, barked everytime i started from a stop and they didnt corner for shit. now the continentals dont bark when i start and they corner awsome, but they cant handle hard acceleration for shit..... from 3k in first gear at half throttle, i can push it to the floor and ill leave patches with these. i did get them real wet and goosed the throttle a bit and they handle the wet better then the sumitomos.
i just cant win.... i wish i could run my DRs all year.... i couldnt see paying 250 a tire for goodyears just to run them as crap winter tires only :mad:
