Spice red and Brazen orange color chips

Just wanted to let everyone know your dealer should now have color sample chips of these two new colors. Spice red looks darker and more magenta than pulse red.

I just went to the Pontiac dealer on Saturday, specifically said I was waiting to see what Spice Red looks like-- and they didn't have any thing....no color chips :(

The two reds (torrid and spice) look identical on my monitor. :banghead:

Yeah, I think it's more of a color idea on the site-- like, oh! the car is another red! Couldn't they just take a couple of real pictures?

I certainly would not order off of a color chip.....
When I was thinking about a GTO I looked at the barbados blue chip:barf:
decided to with yellow.....then after the dealer wouldn't deal on his 500.00 paint sealing scam I left:mad: a few days later I saw a barbados in person......what a difference from the chip!!! Had to have it:thumbs:

The change from Torrid to Spice is very, very subtle. But it is there.

I thought Spice Red is supposed to be a metallic and torrid is not. that might not show up on a computer screen.

Wow... the color samples on their site are whoreable!! Notice how they make Impulse blue look like Midnight blue?!
And yes, the Spice and Torrid look the same on my computer too

I'm surprized no pics of a '06 Spice Red have surfaced yet. There seems to be plenty of Brazen Orange pics. Especially since there are 25+ '06's that have hit dirt here in the U.S.

Also, if you look at the colors where you "Build your Pontiac", you can see a slight difference between Torrid and Spice. The Spice is more "purpley".

Nope, it is not mine - I found the images off Google.com. I love the color myself though. I haven't even gotten my 04 yet and am already thinking that I will eventually trade it in for an 06 Brazen orange!

those are horrible pics... The two reds look exactly the same and the orange looks too yellow...

Those Brazen pics are most likely one of the pilot cars...very few are on dealer lots right now, should be starting to show up on the left coast very soon, if not at the dealers now, and a few more weeks at least for east coast.

Those are computer generated images. There is a difference between the Spice and Torrid. It is subtle though.

Yea I parked by a torrid red car the other day & there isn't that much difference between pulse & torrid. I am anxious to see spice in person!!!!

the torid red is much more redder and brighter. I think the spice red is very nice.

I realized they are computer generated, but why even bother if they look very close to the same. Put images of the real car up on the website then.
