Hey, according to the "better link", there's a hood scoop delete, but not a rear spoiler delete.

One of the competition listed is the Dodge Charger. This is Deja Vue all over again.

They'll have the part numbers out in a month or two. Order it and have a body shop paint and install it on any color 2004/05 GTO.

If the Autocross stuff is a stick on extention like some are saying, there is going to be some cutting involved on the original parts. The lower bit of the rear bumper is going to have to be cut to allow for exhaust port #2 at the very least..

Does anyone else notice that it says that it's still using the LS1 "340hp" motor? This is in the second link posted. Click on "New for 2005"

Course you could lease a car and put wheels body kit on it, cause they are gonna be able to turn around and sell it. You would be a fool to do that.

Their is an RPO code shown for "spoiler" so it may be optional.

Whats with that?

Here I got some inside info from a source of mine.... might help explain.

(GM Board meeting)
Designer #1- "So, for the 05 we will be adding a additional 50 HP with the LS2"
Designer #2- "Yep"
Designer #1- "Well with this increase of power I believe we should make a change with the tires to compensate accordingly"
Desinger #2- "Yep"
Designer #1- "Since we decided that the F-Bodies with 320 HP needed 275/40/17, and the 2004 GTO had 350 HP and we gave it 245/45/17, I believe the only thing to do for the 2005 GTO with 400 HP is to give it 225/50/17, What do think??"
Designer #2 "Hmmp... ummm... huhhh.... YEP!"

Freaking idiots I tell you..... :gr_jest:

Maybe it's my imagination but it does look like the tires sidewalls are considerably taller (IMHO). Maybe that new tire size is not a mis-print.
