Hi! I took my 1st test drive on the 04 GTO Saturday. Portland, Or. It was great and I am sold! Putting down my $$ for a 2005 GTO (that 2004 was fast enough!). I was very impressed with the quality, and if you close your eyes and sat down inside you'd think your sitting in a $50k BMW. They don't make Pontiac like that-at least in my lifetime. It just has so much quality to it! Solid as a rock! I also picked up a "2005 product training reference guide-sales persons only" (the sales guy was not supposed to give it too me) It had some neat stuff listed about the 2005 GTO and the hood, but no pics of the wheels. The revised instrument panel really interest me also. The rear of the car is also really cool next year. :hail:

The revised instrument panel??? Unless I am losing it (which I could be!) I don't believe I have heard about a "revised instrument panel"???

I believe the "revised instrument panel" consists of a new indicator for the redline of the engine (duh, new engine) and a fully functional shift-light.

It also talks about a "revised fonts" for the numbers...no idea what that looks like...

Those are only color samples - they show the same redline that the 04's do, and I know that to be incorrect.

This is why it is dangerous to even sit in one of you can't buy it........such a nice ride it makes you get that stupid grin and pull out your wallet.

Congrats

I was just amazed and will get the '05 (the wife really liked it and ok'd me getting) as soon as I see if I can get those blue seats in that yellow car! If not I guess Its black interior. I'll I can say is that if you have a '04-you have a VERY nice car-one that the normal buying public has no idea what kind of car this is...if they ever test drive one(if the dealer whould let them) they will want one.

See this is why the only negative talk about the car comes from people who have never seen one in real life or ridden in one.......once you get in and GO its euphoria............GTOHHHHHHHH........ :hail:

The pic of the gray 05 gauge is actually the 04 Silver Gauge for the limited Pulse Red GTO's. So all of those pics are from the 04s. :bomb:
