Hello all.
Thanks to the LS1GTO Member Venom, we have organised a group purchase for both genuine HSV Spoilers.
You won't be able to purchase one from HSV directly as they do not sell them unless you own an actual HSV. They do this for exclusivity and to retain a premium on their HSV products.
The spoilers come primed and ready for painting direct from the factory. We don't paint them as it is more cost effective for you to paint them locally.
My question is on that three piece trunk spoiler do we have to drill new mounting holes or can we use the stock ones.
Unfortunately not. The reason for this is the Monaro's are designed and sold without a spoiler. Therefore the JHP Lip Spoiler, the HSV Spoiler and now the SAP Spoiler for the GTO all use different mounting holes.
However, even though the HSV Spoiler will not use the stock holes, it will cover the first set furthest from the rear window. So you only have to fill and paint 2 holes (closest to the rear window) and not all 4.
Can anyone post a pic of the spoiler(s) that we're talking about here?
I have included a picture that shows both the 3 piece HSV Spoiler and roof spoiler.
