Help getting Chevy Lumina or Holden Monaro part info

Hi Gang,

Well I seem to be striking out. I am in the process of getting a Pontiac GTO. I really dislike the front bumper and have been searching for the pricing and someone who will sell me these parts new or used. Does anyone out there have any leads?

Any help is appreciated.

jhp or capa might be able to help you out. but why? its gonna be really expensive. i mean, if you are spending that much money, why not go aftermarket?

Tried them, they never returned any contacts. All I can say is to each his own, I really like the look of the stock Monaro, not the aftermarket look.

You have to keep in mind that the gto headlights are slightly different to the monaro headlights (they will be the same on the 05 models). So you may have to modify the monaro front bumper if and when you find one. Perhaps ask the people on www.ls1.com.au They might be able to help.

dude, dont forget that they are in australia. there is like a 14 hour time difference. so sometimes it takes a few days for them to get back to me. but they have always returned my emails. and a few other people have bought from them and been very pleased.

I know the time difference, it actually had been a few days since my last email and I had contacted them weeks ago. Believe me I am not flaming them, I am glad I finally heard from them and look forward to maybe one day actually getting these pieces.

I am in the midst of pricing a conversion for you guys so i shall keep you posted.. The setup wouldn't be very expensive.. The freight will be the killer, as cubic size of the parcel is over 100kg's....... :banghead:

We have done a few Monaro - GTO front changes here with a few differences, mainly in the wiring of the headlights... But apart from that should all be bolt up.... ;)

Are you just talking about the headlights needing different wiring or do we have to source Morano headlights and if so whatt about the RHD light pattern/cut-off

I got your one email and I have sent several follow-ups, are you guys actually going to be doing this. Some folks say I need to take into account the time difference and be patient :)

I can do that but a week should be long enough to at least here something back??

Hey there guys, sorry about the delay in replys etc, as we have been in Sydney (about 1000km's from where we are situated) for the Ford Vs Holden Show (http://www.capa.com.au/news.htm)

I will be able to supply you with the full setup with headlights, bumper, driving lights, grille etc.. The light offset etc is not a great issue, as they utilise the same headlights in the UAE spec vehicles which are also LHD....
