Troy Coughlin is having a brand new Pro Mod-style GTO built at the Jerry Haas race car factory in Fenton, MO, but the really big news is that he is having a turbocharged powerplant built to power it by none other than “Mountain Motor” guru Sonny Leonard. This could mean bad news for the guys who will have to race this car in Outlaw or legal Pro Mod racing.

Probably so. But you could also say most of the tt efforts have been made by privateers without the cubic dollars/resources of Jeg's. Last I heard, Jeg Jr was going to sit out P/S in 2006. If so, that's a lot of money with no place to go. If nothing else it should be interesting to watch. :)

i hope that you are kidding. last i heard, the fastest outlaw car in the country was a TT ford powerplant. plz correct me if im wrong
