IS that F1Boston.com Sponsorship I see on the side of the 65 Car?

The #65 GTO.R is now being driven by Rj Valentine the owner of F1 Air and F1 Boston. Rj will joined by Marc Bunting and Andy Lally for the full season. Johnny O'connel will be driving with them for the 24hrs. of Daytona but not for the full season.

How I wish the Rolex series would run at Road America in Wisconsin! Mid Ohio is sort of a haul from Illinois.

Yes, that is my son sitting in the #65 car (avatar). They didn't like it when I asked if I could go next!

I'll be attending the Rolex GT in Datona at the end of the month, looking forward to get lots of pics. Does anyone know if the any GTO's will be running?

I think some GTo's will be there as well as some Mustangs. That's what I heard but don't take my word for it. If it is true this Daytona will be the very first GTO/Stang clash of the century.

Friend of mine wants to go. I can't make it. Anybody knows where's the best place to sit?

Grand Am cup there will be a GTO racing the Mustangs. I don't think there will be any Mustangs in the GARolex GT class.

I see. Yes, I thought it was odd to see a musatang at the GA Rolex GT class. So, there will be just one GTo against them Stangs on the GA.

Any of these events on Speed?

There are no mustangs entered in the Rolex GT class for the Daytona 24hr. We do race against some Porsches, Mazdas, Corvettes and BMWs.:driving:

Rolex 24 hr 2006 at daytona feb 28 and 29 will be on Speed in three separate segments broadcasts.

When is the Grand AM where the Mustangs race that one GTO.

Gee, GTOR64, I just realized you on the GTOR team. I'll be watching you guys. My friend is so crazy about the GTOR's he's flying all the way there for the race.

How are the GTOR's doing in practice runs?

We did well at the test days and the car is very fast. We have the best drivers in the #64 car and if they stay out of trouble and the car does not break we have a very good chance to win the race.

I really dont know what Pontiac has planned for Mid-Ohio this year if I hear anything I will let you know for sure. This is kinda off the subject but do you know of GTO's having problems with paint? I just bought a black 06 and it has 3 blotches in the paint.

Funny you should say that, I just had a new door handle put on because the paint was coming off underneath. Not sure if it is the paint per say but I also noticed, just today, some spidering on the door sill which completely pisses me off...

Was just looking over the Grand Am Cup car number list, Spirit of Daytona Racing has been issued three numbers for GTOs for 2006. #8-#9-#10.

So maybe team mates can hold off a Mustang or two.

Wonder if F1 Boston will stay open all night to show the race on their big screen?

its great someone mentioned the door handle, its like the paint just flakes off of this car i havent driven it in awhile but as soon as i got it after my ride home my door handle was peeling and so was my rear bumper. weak paint maybe, or maybe its just the red is too hot, idk
