Anyone running these tires? Theyve gotten decent reviews and they're on Ebay cheap for a staggered setup. I tried searching but only people talking about them. Any real road experience? Thanks

I have used them on both my Cooper S and my Evo VIII. They are very good handling tires, and are one of the top choices for SCCA solo II street tire classes. Expect the car to corner well with them, but don't expect a long lifespan, due to the tread softness. If you are looking for maximum grip for a daily use tire, they are your absolute best bang for the buck choice.

I used them on my Ford SHO and I was very happy with them.
They did come in last in the recent Tire review in Car and Driver but for the money they worked well.
As 2Cool pointed out they wear pretty fast for a 220 AA/A tire.

I have had the MX and 712 on two Corvette's I owned. These are an inexpensive tire that really are a great tire for the money. Good launches and good in the rain. I got 22K miles on the front and 5K on the back. The back probably would have lasted as long except for my constant need to burn out. I just can't help it.

The MX's are a loud tire based on my experience, but I like the way they handle.

Thanks for the responses. Compairing the Toyo T1R to the Kumho...the T1R in 275/35/18 is 10.7" wide and the Kumho is 11.1" wide. The 265 Kumho measures 10.8" wide, so Ill prob to w/ that size to avoid any issues.
