I have a set of Boyd Coddington wheels that I am going to put on after the winter. The fronts are 8" wide and the backs are 9. I really don't want to risk a chance of rubbing with a 275 tire outback since someone with the same wheels put on Bfgoodrich tires I believe and it rubs. I was thinking of going with some 265/35/18's Nittos in the back but heres my dilemma. If I put those tires in the back and put some 245/40/18 upfront it might look weird since the back will be a half inch shorter then the front. Also wouldn't it mess around with the ABS? Now what about a 235 tire up front? Is there any real disadvantages of having a 235/40/18 tire upfront opposed to a 245/40/18? I would go with a 275/35/18 but I really want to avoid rolling fenders.

BFG's run wider than other tires. If you roll the fenders you should be fine with 275's out back. I know if I go with BFG's for tires I'll be going with a 235 front and 265 rear. Though if I go with something like Kumhos I'll be running a 245 front and 275 rear, I will be rolling the fenders.

I was looking into running 265's as well. Muff Daddy has 245 front and 265 rear and u cant see the difference. Kumho's actully run the widest:
Kumho MX 275- 11.1" wide
Kumho MX 265- 10.8" wide
Toyo T1R 275- 10.7' wide
BFG KDW 275- 10.9" wide
BFG KDW 265- 10.7" wide
Im gonna try the 245 in front and 265 rear...see how that works out.
Here's the .4" difference from front to rear { ___ },not gonna be able to tell.

Im not talking about the width, im talking about the overall diameter. The rear is going to be a half inch smaller.
