I'd like to get my wheels powdercoated black, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Obviously I can't be driving the car while they're at the powdercoaters, and I doubt that a shop could get them removed from the car, delivered to the powdercoater, back to the shop and remounted all in one day.

Is there some trick that I'm missing? The only thing I can think of is buying a set of rims somewhere else, getting them powdercoated, and then having a shop do the swap. Seems like a pain, but I don't know any other way.
