I didn't expect to have a fitment issue, but the damn wilwood rotors and calipers aren't inset nearly as much as the stock brakes on the front. I had to use wheel spacers to get the spokes away from the caliper. Luckily, I didn't have any problem with the valve stems, but I think if they were 17" instead of 18", the valve stems would also hit the calipers. It's irritating because I had custom made rims, so if I had any idea I would run into this problem, I could have just had them made with the necessary clearance. Instead I now have ugly spacers behind my nice rims. At least the new brakes do work quite well.

you're not kidding....I dunno if you could FIT 17s on the car with aftermarket brakes. Mine are SO close to my stock calipers up front that even with the flush-mount stem, there's all of about a 1/4 inch of clearance.

I figured that I should post the fitment issues because I'm sure others with aftermarket rims will also want brake upgrades in the future. If I had known in advance that the wilwood calipers set out so much farther than stock, I could have had the wheels made to fit. Unfortunately, I bought the wheels several months before the brakes, so I was unaware that this could be a problem.

Good thing the 05 brakes work well. The only thing I would upgrade to is slotted rotors. I would only get bigger brakes if I was going to do road racing which I am not into.

I think its more of an issue with your wheels than the brakes. The stock 17in wheels fit fine over the Wilwoods. I have custom wheels too and when I ordered them they asked me if I would be using aftermarket brakes, and specifically which ones.

Thats sucks.
My Baers with the 17" rims just fit. With my 19" they look tiny again.
