Is it my imagination or is the rear tires shorter then the fronts?

Those look pretty good with red, they'd be horrid on my yellow. I'd really like to see them on a quicksilver though.

Did you have to roll the fenders in the rear?

Your right, there is close to a half an inch difference.

Did you have to roll the fenders in the rear?
I didn't think I would have too......I thought you could get away with 265's.....and it doesn't rub for normal driving or over bumps. But......
I just got back from a drive and nailed it a couple of times.....it did rub when it "squat" down in the rear to launch......
I guess rolling the fenders will be the next mod.....

Where is it rubbing? I'm looking at 265x35X18 for the rear. What dose "rolling the fenders" entail?
Thanks-Chad

If the 265's rub and the fenders need to be rolled, I'd go with 275's.
I've been looking at those same Privat Profils for my Phantom Black '04, and now that it's paid for, I'm going ahead.

Yeah.....now I looked at it again.....it's rubbing bad. Eating up my brand new tires.
I just called America's Tires back and they're ordering some 245/40/18's for me. I'll put those on until I can get the fenders rolled.....then I'll put the 265's back on and I guess I'll just have an extra set for the front.....
Note to everyone......265's are too big without rolling the fenders......

You can have them trimmed. Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim did it for about 60

It all depends on the offset and tire brand.

how much do those wheels run a piece??
I would totally rock them, but in a gunmetal center.

Looks good... I'm sure you'll get it sorted out soon.
let's see a pic of you smokin them and the smoke comin out of the wheels wells. That's the only way to "truly" tell if a wheel looks good on a car. ;)
