GTO.R takes 2nd in GT Class !st Time Out!

I watched a lot of it yesterday and this morning. Very nice showing for both TRG GTO.Rs. I'll have to keep up with them this season to see if they can keep it up!

Did both of the GTO's have tranny trouble or was that just the number 64.

They said 64 only had 4th gear but they thought the 65 car was having some unkown issue as well. I don't know if it was trans related or not.

I met the drivers today. Gave them all handshakes and congratulations. That car was passing porsches, bmws, ferrari, rx8s, and vettes the whole race. Most of those passes were done in the turns as well. That is one kick ass car that TRG has.

It was a fun watch. It was cool to see the GOAT pace car leading those DP cars and the GT group as well. I think that the TRG GTO did us all proud.I hope GM is watching and gives the GTO more time.

I got up at 6am pst to watch the last 3 hrs this morning. That was a great showing for the TRG GTO.R team. I think they will be able to give the Porsche teams a run for the championship this year if TRG can maintain the chassis balance the GTO.R has. :gears:

It was awesome. I watched th TRG guys trashing on the 64 car at about 11:00Saturday night. Those guys worked their tails off. When I left to get some sleep both cars were running strong.
The 65 and 64 cars hung out together early in the race. At one point a yellow came out and they were the first two cars behind the GTO pace car. AWESOME!!!!

I watched the last 2 hours from the infield stands this morning. The GTO's made me proud!
Appeared to me as though 65 had tranny trouble at the end and 64 was running very strong towards the end but just followed behind him to help protect his nice finishing position. I watched 64 pass alot of cars until then! Very strong car especially down the backstretch and on the brakes I saw him pass ALOT.
They also sounded awesome, very deep!
