This is my step by step progress to try to get rid of wheel hop for street application

1.) sway bar bushings- no difference
2.) koni shocks- same
3.) sub- frame bushings- same
4.) tires Toyo T1-R, 245-40-18 on rear (stock rims)- finally wheel hop reduction, it's there but under control. Tires have the most effect so far.
4a.) koni shocks were installed wrong (bushings too tight). Corrected shocks and put royal purple and trans x additive in the diff.- wheel hop is almost gone. You dont get wheel hop while moving in 1st and mash the peddle. 1st to 2nd shift no hop. Also the whole back end doesn't slide sideways on 1st to 2nd shift.

Sorry, results are scewed because step 2 wasn't done properly.

5.) harrop diff cover - minimal hop and only for short duration when really getting on it and power shifting. Drivetrain feels tighter. Less drivetrain cluck, or maybe it's just not as loud.
6.) pedders oem height springs- backordered
7.) cradle alignment - when the rest is complete.

If these don't totally eliminate it, I will try:
8.) one- piece drive shaft
9.) drag bags- own them but I only want to use them if nothing else works, just my personal preference.

Damn, this should be a drivetrain thread.
