Looking into some traction for this season... my fenders will be rolled this week. That said, I'm looking into just some steel wheels for drag radials. Does anyone know if a 15x10" rim with a 4" backspace with 315/65/15 drag radials will fit our cars?
Thoughts, opinions?
Thanks

Gosh. That's... A lot of meat out back.
4" is 101mm. I'm guessing you're describing the backspacing as half of the rim PLUS the offset...?
I'm thinking no.

Nope. Too much tire toward the centerline of the car. I assume you mean offset, not backspacing. If you mean backspacing, too much tire away from the centerline of the car.

Figured it was worth a shot.
What is the offset on your 19x10s?

Honestly, I don't know. I got mine used from a member here and never bothered to check when I installed them. CGM measured his I believe. Do a search for CCW and CGM and you'll probably find the answer.

I believe 62mm is the maximum offset you can use before the wheel will not fit. Keep in mind a drag tire on a 15" wheel will have a lot more "bulge" to it and may rub on the inside of the wheel well as well as the fender lips.

I had rub on the inner fender on the driver's side, but the BFH fixed that.
