Yes, I did a search and found what I wanted, but I didn't print it off and am unable to find it again.

Anyways, my GTO needs new tires after 7200 miles as they are all worn quite a bit and the right rear has basically no inside tread left.

My question is this: I was reading about the camber angle, and what exactly should it be set at to reduce the wear? Also, what else has anyone done to reduce the issue?

I think it should be as close to 0 degrees as possible. Depends on who you ask but -1 or so shouldn't be a big problem. For the rear tires the only way to adjust it is buy and install a camber kit from Pedders or SLP. I reccomend getting an alignment done to find out how far off you are. This could (not likely) be a warranty issue if your camber is outside of "safe" margins. Of course if you are lowered or modified then warranty is out the window. That is why I would do the alignment first. Go to a reputable shop and spent the $60-80 an alignment costs. This will at least give you a baseline so you know where you were at when you started before any mods were done. or before you put in a camber kit.

Edit:
One more way to bring camber up would be to raise the rear of the vehicle with taller springs.

As close as possible to 0 degrees camber and within specs.

We just did a 04 GTO on a member that has done multiple alignments and I think tires. The rears were at -1.8 degrees camber. We got it to -1.0 with a Pedders kit. One side would only go to -1.0 and the other side could go to -.5 camber.

To wear tires out at 7500 requires some extensive playing. Either you need some suspension upgrades or you are going to need a substantial budget for rubber every other month!!
