I have a friend who posts on here and I worked with him for some wheels for his 1 Lap entry this year and he told me about this forum .... So, I thought I would register and see if you guys needed any technical advice or assistance.
If you would like me to answer any tire/wheel/suspension/brkae questions just post them here ..... please put "Luke@tirerack" in the title so, I do not have to search for the questions.
If you are curious about my qualifications I offer this brief list:
worked in the Automotive industry for almost 30 years (started sweeping floors at an engine shop when I was 12)
I have a 10 second drag car ('56 Belair)
I have a 300ZX TT track/autoX/street car
I have raced in one form or another since I was 8 years old starting with gocarts
Substitute driving instructor for several groups BMW/Porsche/Audi/NCCC/VCA
With The Tire Rack for many years
ASE Certified Master tech
there's more but, I'm not here to blow my own horn ...

Here's one. Many people here are running, or want to run, staggered set ups on their cars but only ROH offers one through Group A wheels. Many of us (including myself) have gone with BMW 3 series fitments, centering rings and some minor fender alterations to make this happen. Or (Cha Ching!) custom wheels. I know y'all do extensive research and trial fitments for your applications so all recommended applications are bolt on without problems.:boink:
That said, how 'bout some research and trial fitments for staggered 8 and 9 inch wide applications with correct offsets that are hub centric or come with centering rings. Y'all probably have some pull with ASA and could probably get some fitments along with other styles (I've seen many of them - nice!):judge:
Better yet! Do this along with becoming a sponsor and y'all can announce your latest products and applications for the GTO and get in touch with a lot of people!
OK rant complete!
Thanks, and look forward to some good stuff from y'all.

No lie......Good to have you here. Wheel and tire fitment for these cars have made us all pull our hair out at one time or another. Nice to have someone else on board that can point us in the right direction.

Now there is a familiar name :boink: . I jumped ship from owning a Corvette for many years and participating on the Corvetteforum to owning a GTO and now I am proudly on this forum. Luke has tons of knowledge and has been a solid guy for the Corvette Community for many years. Happy to see ya here. I figured you probably owned TireRack by now.
Now what about some staggered 19's.

Tell me about it, I went months trying to figure out what wheel i could use. Eventualy spending a lot more than I expected and went with custom wheels, which I am completely satisfied with. :judge:
